Contest Rules:

We have to have these very precise rules because that´s required when you are running a contest. But we definitely want you to enter; we want to send you away! So if in any way you're not clear, or if you have any questions at all about whether you're eligible, just call the Surrealtor Hotline at 617-648-4455.

1. Contest Sponsors The Refer Madness Sweepstakes Contest is sponsored by The Surrealtors (Trisha Solio, Jay Balaban, and Kathy Power) who are solely responsible for all aspects of the contest. Additional contest sponsor, Pronoia— awakenings of optimism and outbreaks of goodwill caused by the sense that others are conspiring for your benefit.
2. Contest Description The Contest is a random drawing from among eligible entries (see below). The prize is a trip for two to Amsterdam, Jamaica, Maui, or a destination of the winner´s choice, total value up to $2,500.00. Prize can be applied to airfare, hotels, transfers, meals, spending money, and other travel expenses.
3. Contest Period The contest period is from July 21, 2010, to 5:00 p.m. July 22, 2012. Qualifying entries received by the Surrealtor Sweepstakes Hotline, 617-648-4455, or at Sweepstakes@TheSurrealtors.com during that time will be entered in the drawing. Drawing will be held and winners notified within one week of the contest closing.
4. Eligibility The contest is open to persons whose referral of a client or customer to The Surrealtors results in a closed purchase or sale of real estate during the period of the contest. In addition, a Bonus Retro Entry is available to a person whose referral of a client or customer has resulted in a closed purchase or sale of real estate between April 1, 1986 and the start of the contest period. Each referral qualifies for one entry. For example, if you make ten qualified referrals, you get ten entries. Each referrer may only win once, as this is a once in a lifetime opportunity, and in fairness to others. Referrals made by real estate professionals acting in their professional capacity are not eligible. Family and employees of the contest sponsors, such employees´ immediate family members and persons with whom such employees are domiciled are excluded from this contest. The term "immediate family members" includes partners/significant others/spouses, parents, grandparents, siblings, children, and grandchildren. Sponsors´ decisions about eligibility will be final.
5. How to Enter To enter, call the Surrealtor Sweepstakes Hotline, 617-648-4455, or email Sweepstakes@TheSurrealtors.com and tell us who you are referring. If they buy or sell a property with The Surrealtors acting as their agent, and the property closes by the end of the contest period, your name will be entered in the drawing. To get your Bonus Retro Entry, call the Surrealtor Sweepstakes Hotline, 617-448-4455, or email us at Sweepstakes@TheSurrealtors.com telling us who you referred during the Bonus period, and, if you can, what they bought or sold. One entry will be made for every qualifying referral during the contest period or the Retro Bonus period. You must contact The Surrealtors in order for your referrals to be entered into the drawing. Sponsors will not be responsible for incomplete, lost, late, misdirected or unreadable entries or for failure to receive entries due to transmission failures or technical failures of any kind, including, without limitation, malfunctioning of any network, hardware or software, whether originating with sender or Sponsors.
6. Drawing The winner will be selected at random from the qualifying entries by an impartial Judge. All decisions of the Judge are final and binding.
7. General This contest is subject to all federal, state and municipal laws. Federal, state and local tax liability and any other expenses are the sole responsibility of prizewinners. Void where restricted and prohibited.
8. Release and Acknowledgement In accepting the prize, the winner, and any guest(s), acknowledges that Trisha Solio, Jay Balaban, Kathy Power, Prudential Unlimited Realty, and Prudential Real Estate Affiliates may not be held liable for any loss, damages or injury associated with accepting or using this prize(s). By participating in this Contest, each entrant affirms that s/he is at least 18 years of age, accepts the conditions stated in these Official Rules, agrees to be bound by the decisions of the judges and warrants that s/he is eligible to participate in this Contest. By accepting prize, winner agrees to release Sponsors, its employees, officers, and agents, including without limitation, its advertising and promotion agencies, from any and all liability, loss or damages arising from or in connection with the awarding, receipt, and/or use or misuse of prize or participation in any prize-related activities. Prize winner, by acceptance, also agrees to the use of winner´s name, home town, likeness, statements and other personally identifiable information for marketing and advertising, and consumer promotions in any media throughout the universe without additional prize, incentive, consideration, consent or review.
